Hey guys i have a mid 2012 pre retina 2.7 i7 15" macbook pro , my macbook pro seems to be running a little bit on the hot side. on idle it sits around 65 C , underload it hits 100 C , if i unplug the battery my temps stay extremely low. 45 C idle and about 60-62 under a heavy load ( cinebench ), i have tried the following

Cpu Paste replaced with kryonaut

new ram

new drive

new keyboard ( Ctrl key was not working )

new battery

reset smc.

new charger

tried os High sierra , mojave & catalina

same results.

any help would be greatly appreciated

I recently found my 2012 15" MBP was kind of overheating with fans ran at highest speed constantly. It turned out that the air outlets on both fans were clogged by dusts. After I cleaned dusts, the machine went back to its normal temperature and fans stopped running like crazy.

I took apart the fans and deep cleaned the whole computer when i changed my cpu paste there is no dust anywhere , my fans run at 2,000 rpms when it is at idle at 60c they hit 4,000-6000 rpm when it hits 100c , i wish that would have fixed it :/ thanks for the reply man
