I have this iPad mini that I got couple weeks ago and I noticed that if I use it for a long period of time without any heavy application, it will overheat to a point that I would wonder if the iPad will get damage internally. I have AppleCare and I know if something happens, Apple will replace it but is this normal in the iPad world?

It'll heat up during large downloads, syncing, gaming and streaming. It it were 'overheating' then a eating comes up on the screen.

Feeling warm is far from overheating.

That's the thing that I am not doing any downloads, sync or gaming. Yes, I used YouTube but the heat is a little uncomfortable.

If it's easy to replicate, book an appointment at the genius bar and let them checking out.
