Overheating on PB's in Panther while playing DVDS?

I noticed since I have installed Panther
on my 17" PB that it overheats alot and the fan kicks on everytime I play a DVD. It never did that before in 10.2.x
Any of you experiencing that?

That's heating, not overheating. If it overheated, it would shut off.
