Curious if anyone has good suggestions on how to tackle a problem that's got me stumped.
Would like to overlay .tif images onto documents created in Pages (though I can use MS Word as well).
A search turned up suggestions on how to do this with a .pdf document, was hoping to not have to convert though.
Suggestions? Many Thanks!
More info below:
As a basic science researcher, often the experiments/procedures follow the same basic format. In these cases I've created templates that are useful for planning and recording experiments/procedures. The templates are then printed out and at the ready as I go through the day/week.
The output from many of these experiments are on the computer. Therefore it is time consuming and wasteful to print, cut, paste and then scan in the record to have a digital copy. Would prefer to do this all digitally, the one sticking point is handwritten portion.
Currently am using a digital pen (Apen A4) that generates .tif images of my notes. Would like to then overlay the .tifs from the day as I do my work or when attending seminars/meetings onto the template forms and create a concise digital record.
