dear all,
i am looking for an easy way to change the key combination for a backslash on my macbook air (default is alt+shift+7 and this slightly annoys me because my left thumb is normally somewhere between space and cmd). i know this is possible by placing an xml file somewhere in the library folder, but i'm no good at xml and although there are programs like ukelele assisting you with the creation of this file I could not make it work yet. does somebody have a neat way to accomplish what i described above? or does someone even already have such a working file (unfortunately i have a german keyboard)? something like alt+< for backslash would be great :3

thanks in advance, and best wishes, fooCD
