Hi
I have a problem connecting one monitor (Dell U2715H) via hubs (both).
- OWC Thunderbolt Hub
- Amazon Basics Thunderbolt4/USB4 Docking Station
According to the description, there should be no problem with this.
I connect the hubs directly to the M4Max with a USBC-Display Port cable. The cable is 5m long. I also have a second 2m i-tec cable, also USB-C<>DP, and there is the same situation - when connected, the monitor is not detected.
Without hubs, on the same cables, the monitor connected directly to the M4Max is immediately detected.
Do you need special cables to make it work? Are there other limitations and it will not work?
At the same time a second monitor is connected via HDMI - maybe this is the problem? (MBP is closed)
Thanks for your help!
