I was wondering if anyone owned this external enclosure/hard drive and if they had success in upgrading or swapping out the internal hard drive later on? Is it basically PnP? Thanks!

I have two of them. It's dead simple to exchange drives. Only takes a few minutes.

Thanks! I actually ordered one anyways because I have read great things about your products, and the enclosure looks durable and pretty nice!

Glad to know it's future proofed since I plan on getting some mileage out of FW800 with Thunderbolt and SSD pricing still seeming real high.
