Sandforce-based, 480GB. This actually isn't a huge loss in capacity over the stock 512GB drive because the stock drive is actually a 500GB drive by any other SSD manufacturer's count.

It is already being discussed here, but while the 512 GB update might only cost 500 USD, with OWC you get your already present 256 GB and an additional 480 GB. 256 GB of SSD are still worth more than 130 USD.
