I am just posting a quick thread here,

Has anyone bought the SSD from OWC which fits in the Apple Proprietary SSD connector used in the MacBook Retina Mid-2012/Early-2013 models?

I am wondering what the differences are in the NAND memory between the 1TB and 2TB Models, if possible, and if one model would be more reliable than the other? Thinking 1TB versus 2TB.

Has anyone here had any problems with these drives? Mines shipping in the mail right now, I'm wondering if anyone knows if the OEM Apple drives (Samsung) are still available for order, and in What Capacities?

Thank you for any OWC-related information.
I see an older thread where a couple people were reporting failures or problems with them:

If nobody is able to reply,
I will post back when I receive my 1TB and 2TB OWC SSD's with Technical details on the NAND-Manufacture, The NAND-Configuration, and general compatibility with TRIM and other OEM OS Level compatibility features, I will post back here with all the details of my acquisition.

These drives are rather expensive, $329.00 USD for a Drive-only 2TB Model.
