Has anyone moved to the 180GB OWC SSD and noticed any change in battery life? If so did it get better or worse?

Thanks.

Does anyone have actual experience or the wattage used at idle and load for the OWC and toshiba so I can compare?

I have one in my Macbook Pro and it's definitely worse by about an hour or so. The speed is unbelievable though.

The 180 is still a 3G SSD. I'd expect the battery drain to be the same as the ones that come with the air.

It's when you jump to the 6G that you'll notice a difference with the battery.

Hmm the SATA3 sand force is known for being more power hungry. I guess I can expect the SATA2 to be almost the same as the Toshiba then.

Thanks.

I have the 180 and have seen no battery issues...

Then again, I am not trying to squeeze out 6 or 7 hours so maybe I would not notice.

In fact, I am just not too clear how anyone would be able to determine the difference in battery usage.
