In the early days, OWC (formerly MacSales) produced solid products with excellent support. Unfortunately, the last two docks I bought told a different story: one failed outright, and the other became unusable because OWC dropped firmware support. After being left with what amounted to a brick in only a few months, I vowed never to buy one of their disposable boxes again. 🙅
