When typing - my "p" wouldn't work. At first I thought the key was stuck, but after working with it I realized the "Capital P" worked. I worked with it further and noticed whenever I would touch the "p" - the volume control would appear. I started working with the volume control and then went back to the "p". Now when typing "p" it types several characters at one such as:

p/0
p:'0/
/p0

Does anybody have any idea what the issue could be?

Thanks!

What MacBook Pro do you have (year, size) and Mac OS X version do you use?
Does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account?

Has anything spilled on the keyboard?

What do you mean when you say "working with it"? That could mean anything, as far as I'm concerned ... That is, anything within either physical tampering or software tweaking. With the minimal info given, I would suspect it's the former, in which case you're probably better off bringing it in for service.
