I preordered 3 iphone 6s, 2 rose gold and 1 gold and the tracking is stating that the rose gold iphones weigh more than the gold iphone. The rose golds r listed as 1.4 lbs EACH while the gold is listed at 0.4 KGs which is converted to about 0.9 lbs. The rose golds just shipped from Nashville while the gold shipped from China. What could be the cause of the difference in weight?

IMO, those are weight classifications, not necessarily the actual weight of the package. Complicated by the fact that the packages originated in two different countries that use different weight measures.
