Packaging an extension to thunderbird installer

I have to include the "mouse_gestures-1.5-fx+mz+zm+tb.xpi" into the thunderbird installer so that when the user installs the thunderbird installer in his machine, the extension will get installed into thunderbird by default.
To create a thunderbird installer I used the section 6.4.3.2 of the site:-

The other instructions which I followed were at

But nothing worked out from me.
Is it possible to package an extension into an installer?if yes How!!!!
