The Aksent High Definition In Ear Earphones are a new product delivered by the makers of the PowerCase for the iPhone 4. Keeping the iPhone, iPod Touch, & iPad in mind, these earphones feature pause, microphone, and volume controls, rich dynamic bass for a powerful sound, background noise reduction, and foam ear cushions that conform to the ear. Read on for the full review of the Aksent High Definition In Ear Earphones to see if these are one of the better low priced earphones.

I don’t typically review earphones here on my site, but when I saw the Padacs Aksent’s and read all of the rave reviews, I decided it was time to get myself a pair. I was not disappointed. The sound, quality, comfort, design, and noise isolation were incredible.

Basically, the Aksent’s feature a very simple design with a bunch of cool features. Aksent comes standard with three different pairs of foam ear tips. Even though two of them are on the larger side, the smaller ones seemed to fit my small ears just fine and blocked out almost all the background noise. It also comes equipped with a pause button, a microphone, and volume controls (a slider style volume navigator) that can be accessed on the controller. As yet another addition, the Aksent’s also feature a mini clip that can clip to your clothes if you were to be running or things of that nature.

The Padacs are very stylish in terms of looks and designs. The actual earphones are made out of what appears to be a chrome type of material (or at least they sound and feel like it) and look very sleek minimalistic. That’s yet another thing I like about Padacs products, how they fuse simple build and style into a great product. Even though the chrome does seem to pick up some fingerprints, I do not find this to be much of a problem and I find that as these age, the chrome will still look as good as the day they were.

I am no audiophile, but once you put the Aksent’s into your ear, you will be blown away by the sound quality. Now, I am not a person that usually listens to rap and hip hop but from the few times that I did, the bass was very loud and rich. When playing rock music or metal music (or any type of genre that isn’t rap or hip hop for that matter) the treble was nice and clear and I found that it was not distorted or fuzzy in any way.

I recommend double checking to make sure that the foam tips are directly sealed into your ears as to guarantee that you experience the best sound possible. Since we are talking about the foam tips I might as well as explain one of my favorite things about these earphones. Unlike other earphone companies who use TPU or silicone for comfort, the Aksent feature a foam material that sort of acts like memory foam to shrink to the exact size of ear, in turn sealing out any background noise present.

As an added bonus, the Aksent’s also some with a small pouch to keep your earphones in, a very nice addition. If you are in the market for a very good pair of earphones for a very generous price, I can highly recommend the Padacs Aksent’s. Amazing sound, stylish design, and comfortable fit make these earphones a no brainer. You can purchase the Aksent’s on Padacs website for $49.95 and comes with the earphones themselves, a carrying pouch, and three sets of foam ear cushions.
