I use an iMac Core Duo 2GHz, 2 GB Ram at work. I have open all day Illustrator and Photoshop CS2, Mail, Firefox & Adium. I periodically run Chicken of The VNC, Transmit, Quark and Preview.
My Mac has been on for abou seven hours now - i have been doing Illustrator work all day and a bit of Photoshop work. And at present, this is what my Memory Status reads as (see attachment).
I have often thought that the Pie chart does not read correctly as there seems too much free memory? And is it normal for me to have no page outs?
