Snow Leopard 10.7.5
Macbook Pro
I am having a problem with my screen that i cant figure out. For the past couple of months, lets say I am reading something on a webpage.
Every once in a while the page will just sort of "refresh itself"
For instance, I can be reading something half way down the page but all of a sudden it will jump back up to the top of the page.
This causes problems on Facebook as I will be writing in one box and it will do this and suddenly I have lost the box.
It also seems to prevent me from being able to have some downloads pop up.
If i hit on a page where as soon as I do a download should start, often one doesn't and I have to go about it a different way to get it.
But its just most annoying in that I will be reading the newspaper and all of a sudden it jumps up to the top of the page again.
Any idea WHAT this is and how to stop it?
Thanks
As far as I know, everything is updated.
I use Safari but I see it happen in Firefox when I have used it as well
