Page loading time

Over the last few days, it takes a long time to load a site or a page within a site. The URL appears and starts to go blue and stops, the RSS whirls and then finally the blue highlight filters across and the page loads but it's slow.

Any thoughts please?

Non techie here so be gentle with me.
