Here
I've worked with extensively with styles, but always within isolated documents. I created a new heading style that I'd like to save, but not overwrite the existing defaults, so that I can easily apply this style in later documents without copying placeholder text from one document to another.

Can this be done and can you explain how? I don't have to play with this until tonight and would love to have someone explain it here so that I don't have to spend time figuring it out later.

Thank you so much, you're helping me out a lot!

Should add: I have a few Pages templates and one "Styles" template with different customized heading, body, and list styles. Right now I usually copy and past my placeholder text and then that style is recognized throughout the that document in the Styles Drawer.

I am hoping to save them globally so that I can start a new document and access my custom styles in the drawer without pasting in text.

Just wanted to clarify.
