If you are only taking notes, from a class or a meeting, no graphs or tables or anything fancy, just notes, using Page on iPad, can these be transfered to MS Word?

yeah you can actually save them as word docs. Just when you export to itunes itll ask if you want to do a word file. or save them to icloud. when on icloud.com you can save them as word docs there too

One option is ofcourse the iCould.
Another thing you can do is mail the document to yourself, from Pages app on iPad:
Wrench Button (Top right) --> Share and Print --> Email Document (You'll get a pop-up asking you to choose a format: Pages, PDF, Word) --> Hit Word, and you'll get a mail pop-up with a .doc attachment.

This is just another way you can make it into a Word file. But the iCloud option is better. =P

Thank you

Thank you very much guys.

This is very helpful, my laptop is a bit old and heavy and didn't want to bring it to class but I did want to keep notes.

These are all great options.

Thank you very much.
