Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to do the following things in Pages and, if so, how! Thanks for your help :)

  • hide the header/footer without going to outline mode
  • define your own zoom level instead of choosing one of the available options

p.s. I'm on a macbook pro.

No one has any suggestions? For my job I sometimes have deaf people reading off my computer screen and I just want to make it as easy for them to read as possible.
 
Wow, I appear to have stumped everyone! For the sake of posterity, here's my workaround:

In the Document Inspector, I uncheck the Headers and Footers boxes, and I set the top and bottom margins to 0.

There's still big line at the page division, but at least you can follow the text from one page to the next because the big gaps are gone.
