I just bought an iMac and I love it. Trying to learn Pages and having a bit of a problem. I'm trying to make a flyer. I started with a blank template and place 2 photographs in it. I want to plaace text over these photos. I believe I need to move the photos to the back, but that option is not available. What am I missing?

Looking through the manual has brought up nothing.

The thread title guy strikes again:

A more descriptive and precise thread title will help cater to the right audience and get you more responses.

To edit your thread title, just click on the
edit.gif
button on the bottom right of your original post and then click the "Go Advanced" button below your message.
Have you also taken a look at MRoogle, since that question may have been asked several times?

from the forum rules:

Minor Problems

3. Thread titles.

Use thread titles that indicate the subject of the thread, not generic titles such as "Need help". Moderators may change thread titles that have no specifics, usually by adding something more specific in parentheses.

Here's what I would post as an answer in Apple's Discussions:

Inserted objects (images, shapes, text boxes, etc.) have wrap turned on & it "pushes" any text in text boxes out of the way. You can leave the wrap turned on in the text box.
