Pages iCloud document not uploading

Hi,
I made some changes to an iCloud document. I left pages open, and still a couple of hours later the document had the cloud icon next to it. (I checked online and the change still hasn't been made to the cloud.) Note: the document is text only and quite short.

Anyone experienced a similar issue?

Appreciate any input!

I've done some testing -- I've found that even a new Numbers document (135KB) won't upload, and even a 345 Byte almost blank text document refuses to upload.

Seems my iCloud Drive is completely stuck.

EDIT: Documents created from my iPhone or iPad appear immediately in iCloud drive. So it's definitely an issue with iCloud drive on my Mac.
