My pages doesn't show correct color font and I cannot use most of the colors. The only time I can see it is if i set it to certain colors or I highlight it.

When I highlight it it turns light blue which is quite weird since I have it set to hot pink.

Anyways I have included a picture to help me explain my situation.

I think I accidentally toggled with one of the preferences. I'm looking for any help to turn it back to normal.

Select all of your text, change its color to black, and then start over.

I tried that and had no success. :(
It occurs when I quit Pages and open it again.
It just happens. I cant see the black font when I first start typing.

I tried to open a Pages file sent from my Macbook, and it didn't show! I highlighted it and it was there.

I am getting a feeling you are using iWork '08 with Snow Leopard? You must run updates to your Pages, Keynote, and Numbers applications to correct this issue.

Wow, you are completely right.

I was using iWork '08 with 10.6.6. I ran the updates and it works perfectly. Thank you so much.
