I have a document with linked text boxes. If I start a paragraph near the end of one box, the entire paragraph jumps to the next box leaving about a half an inch of blank space at the end of the first box. Is there a way to fix this.
Thanks in advance, Norm: confused:

Sounds like a combination of your paragraph spacing and windows/orphan settings.

Try opening the Inspector and clicking the "T" for text tab, then look under Text>Spacing and More>Pagination and Break.

Pages doesn't give much fine control over these latter settings, but you can try reducing the paragraph spacing and/or turning off "Prevent widow and orphan lines".

Seems to be working

I went into inspector and text. Could not find exact options described, but tried Widows and Orphans and it seems to be working correctly. Thought I had tried that before, but I guess I didn't get it right.

Thanks, Norm:)
