Pages on a iPad

Hi Guys

just looking at the iPad and thinking this would be great idea to have out on the road as opposed to taking my only Mac Book Pro and if stolen I won't loose everything.

Only thing is when I was trying out the iPad am I right in thinking its only a basic
version bit like the iPhone App of Pages
Has I didn't see half the icons when I open Pages on me Mac Book Pro.

Just because it has less icons on the screen doesn't mean that it has less functionality. Sure there are a few things that are not as good; but generally all of the functionality of Pages on the Mac are there.

Whatever I've been able to do on my MacBook or iMac using Pages, I've been able to do on Pages on the iPad. The only problems that I have encountered are those involving fonts that are not on the iPad, otherwise, everything else has been great.
