Pages Print Black & Pink - Help!

I just got this printer going today. It's an HP 812C. I just want to print the whole page in black and white including the diagrams. What do I need to do?
This is the software I downloaded from HP. All the color prints are turning out pink for some reason along with diagrams that are supposed to be black.

Just to put an end to this thread, I came to realize that the color cartridge is at fault; it's only flowing 1 out of 3 of the colors, which is the pink.
