Pages Question

Hello,

Why can I not add extra/more pages.

The option to do so is greyed out!

10.9.2 and Pages 5.2(1860)

I have tried in both layout types and followed the help section to no avail.

Help much appreciated.

Yes exactly that.

I also do not understand why when you type beyond the first page a second does not appear?

this happens

I have one page on the screen and no way of adding another.

So what I have done is open anew document, cut & paste the contents of the first document and I now have a multi-page document as wanted in the first place which also produces 2nd & 3rd page etc. as expectant.

No idea what was wrong first time round but its OK now??????
