Hello,

I'm having problems with the spelling in Pages.

Some words auto correct but others get the red underline.

For example, I typed COGNATIVE. I clicked on the word and was offered COGNITIVE , COG NATIVE and COG-NATIVE.

Obviously, COGNITIVE is the correct spelling, but if I choose COG NATIVE or COG-NATIVE there is no spell warning even though they are not in the Mac OS X dictionary.

Why isn't it auto corrected to COGNITIVE and why am I offered alternatives not in the dictionary? Why is COGNATIVE marked as wrong when there is a word with that spelling?

Shouldn't Pages be smarter than this?

Cheers

EDIT : Also, Pages doesn't automatically give names and places capital letters. I know that it can't identify every name and place but surely some are obvious.

EDIT 2 : I'm not complaining, I'm just curious. ;)
