I'm doing a fake resumé for school, and I want two blocks of text on the same line, one left aligned, and one left aligned to the center of the page... but pages isn't letting me do so!

Is there a way to make it work? I tried making a separate text box, but it wasn't working for me, so I gave up.

Yes, you can do what you ask easily using text boxes. I'm not sure why it didn't work for you. You click text box icon on the tool bar, then format text within the text box however you like, then box itself may be aligned wherever you like.

You may also accomplish the same thing with tabs, enters one line of each text block at a time.

Just, text boxes are harder to format for me because they weren't aligning properly. I guess I'll just do tab then. Thanks.
