Going to be a LOOOOONNNNNGGGGGGGGG weekend.
Of course it wasn't supposed to ship until the 4th so I really have no room to complain.
15", 2.5ghz , 2gb, 250gb, no BTO or accessories which might explain the earlier ship date.
Wouldn't hurt calling Apple to see if you can get any kind of compensation...say 1/2/free shipping. This has worked for me a couple times with other online stores so why not Apple?
Yeah, apple will refund the shipping charges (For like next day), if they or fedex or whoever screws up.
Oh, I'm not complaining about the shipping fee. It's wanting to share the misery of knowing that it's going to be sitting the weekend in a damn fedex facility 140 miles away after paying for overnight. 
If I hadn't paid overnight, it'd just be sitting in the Memphis warehouse for the weekend and not getting here until Wednesday, so it's all good.
