Painfully slow ATT LTE speed on my iPhone 6 plus

Have two to three bars of LTE but get speeds under 2 Mbps. Did a side by side test with my wife's iphone 5 and she was at 8-9 Mbps. I have Done the hard reset. Anything else to try before taking it back?
