Guys how are you....Happy New Year.

I got a 6 month old Mac Book Pro paint is coming off below the keyboard...Kinda like black dots. My wife laughs and says it is cause I use it so much however it is kinda sucky....ANyhow anyone else experience this. Silver turning black? I can take picture if needed.:apple:

Hey, Happy New Year to you, too! :)

I've got a MBP that I bought and received about 9 months ago, and I don't have anything like this. The only black dot I have is one where my watch nicked the left palm-rest. But, no, no paint chipping that I can see.

A picture would be good, though.
 
I believe the Aluminum is anodized, therefore, it cannot just come off. It isn't painted.
 
From what I've read some peoples sweat reacts chemically with the anodised aluminium like that, if you're one of those people, not much can probably be done about it.

I, for one, don't like the full-body InvisibleShield covers that some would recommend, but I do recommend a wrist-pad cover like those available from Moshi or PowerSupport:

My old aluminum Powerbook had that. It also got scratched to hell from my titanium watch (not sure if the fact that i was titanium had anything to do with it, but who knows).
