Macintosh Garden has the last version of Appleworks as a free download, apparently they consider it free abandonware now. Works just fine on Leopard for me, and it should work on Classic down to 8.6 too.AppleWorks wasn't free, unfortunately. However, it was bundled in the restore disks of Macintosh Computers for free, and most restore disks with AppleWorks (Even if it's for an older version of Mac OS X) work with other machines. You can find AppleWorks at a fairly low cost on sites like eBay.
