Paint software

I've no clue where to look.

I just want some software like Paint. I need to design a some demo artwork for a mate..

Have a browse around version tracker and see if anything in there sounds like it will fit your needs.

There's a free app named TuxPaint, but it's pretty much aimed at kids so the interface is all big icons and stuff. You could also try Seashore, which is also open-source.

Yeah, I was also going to recommend Seashore.

I'll throw in another vote for Seashore, it handles whatever I need it to. (in regard to paint equivalent tasks)
