Pair AW in beta to new unit?

Hi,
I’m thinking of buying the new AW and handing my old AW2 down to my girlfriend. The watch is running the latest beta. Do you think we will be able to pair my current watch to my girlfriends iPhone, given that she will be running io13?

+ do you guys think that I will be able to backup the current watch to the new watch even though my current is running a beta?

The final for aw1+2 is delayed, no date communicated. That’s why I’m asking, sorry, should have mentioned it.
