I can obviously try this myself and see what happens, but I'm wondering if it's possible for me to set things up so that no matter which watch I happen to be wearing (I have a SS S0 and a SS Space Black S0), my heart rate monitor will be available without having to go into the settings and re-pair it each time I put a different watch on.

I do realize that the HRM can't be used with both watches at the same time and wasn't planning to wear both watches at the same time (one on each wrist). :D I'm just hoping to be able to freely switch between watches day to day for my workouts.

To answer my own question, the answer appears to be yes. The first Apple Watch (or iPhone, for that matter) that has been paired to the HRM that connects to it gets it. I was able to pair both of my Apple Watches and the Polar Beat app on my iPhone. Whichever grabs the HRM first gets it until the HRM is disconnected from the device.
