I'm new to the iPhone but this is a weird issue I just cannot seem to get around. I have a Blueant z9 paired with the iPhone 3G.
It works fine when placing calls, I place a call and I can immediately use the BT headset. When answering calls however, if I click Answer Call on the phone itself, it assumes I want to use the handset and not the paired BT headset. If I click the button on the Blueant it will default to the headset vs the handset.
At first I thought this was just a iPhone quirk, maybe it assumes if you're clicking the screen you want to use the handset, but my friend who also has a 3g paired with a Jawbone does not have this issue. No matter how he chooses to answer a call, if the headset is paired and in range, it always defaults to the headset.
Any ideas? Has anyone else run into this issue?
