I am delighted to report that the latest 2.2 iPhone update resolves the issue of me not being able to upload my 100+ phone contact list to my BMW dash screen.
With 2.1 this was impossible to implement, despite many pairing/unpairing attempts. Now a full named list appears instantly and truly enables a handsfree phone to be used.
