I have an Apple Watch Series 5 LTE, paired with an iPhone X. My carrier is O2 and i have a data plan setup for the watch. I‘ve just upgraded to an iPhone 11 Pro and my plan is to unpair the watch, set up the new phone and then repair the watch. When unpairing the watch I’m asked if i want to keep my data plan on it or remove it. I’m wandering what to select. Nothing is changing with my mobile plan. Im staying with O2 and ill be putting the sim straight from ny iphone X into the new iphone. Has anyone gone through this process? Im worried about clearing the data plan from the watch as when ive done this in the past ive had problems reactivating it. Its something to do with O2 failing to recognise the plan has been removed; so trying to reactivate a plan for the same hardware device fails because O2 thinks its already paired.
