Hi,

A window was opened on my mac book pro when I came back to it from an hour idle and a strange window was open that I've never seen before.

It was a pairing request from T-Mobile with a number in black and it asked me if the number corresponded with something. I said no and it went away, but now I'm a little caught off guard by it and worried.

And that would be because I don't have TMobile nor do I have Blutooth.

Any ideas?

Were you in a public place like a library? Somebody with a phone named "T-Mobile" tried bluetooth pairing with their Mac and picked yours by mistake. No sweat.

BTW, pairing is a bluetooth thing so I suspect your bluetooth is on and there is a checkmark next to discoverable. If you like you can uncheck discoverable and this won't happen again.

although for some reason I see the name of my laptop is the name Bluetooth devices use to connect to this computer?

???
