do the pioneer A04s superdrives play PAL DVDs burned in DVD Studio Pro in the US? Or even commercial PAL DVDs?

Tyler

I thought that dvd rom drives for any computer coupled with pretty much any software bundle would be able to decode PAL and NTSC videos.

Yes they do. I have not ran into any mac DVD drives that will not play PAL. However, PAL video does not look as smooth and crisp as NTSC----at least not on my Powerbook 12"

sweet thanks guys. makes sense cuase otherwise how could you test a PAL dvd with dvd studio pro. I guess it then varies with physical DVD players if they can play both NTSC and PAL
