Pale line accross MacBook screen.

I had this same problem with my old laptop; basically there are pale blob-ish lines accross the MacBook's screen. Everything shows fine, but it's as if there was a really bad smudge there, but there isn't. Any ideas? Will post photos in a minute.

It might be where the keys were pressed against the screen when closed.

It lines up perfectly with the gap between the keys and the bit that's higher up than the keys (Al Macbook)

I have this same problem with my unibody MacBook. Anyone have any luck speaking to Apple about this?
