PalmOne Treo as upgrade on Vodafone UK

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get a Treo as a paid upgrade to my Vodafone contract. Vodafone won't give me any info because they say I have to wait another 10 days before I can ask them about upgrades.

However, I had a phone call from a competing company who re-sell Vodafone tariffs this morning, and got offered a couple of very nice brand new handsets. They don't sell Treos, however, and seeing as my aged IBM C3 (a palm Vx clone) has recently started to be unreliable, as has my Sony Ericsson k750i, I'd like to replace both of them with one device, and the Treo 650 seems to fit the bill, esp as I can move my old Palm data across to it.

Any advice much appreciated.

From what I can see Vodafone don't carry the Treo? I'd take a guess that you'd have to buy the phone sim free and continue to use it with your Vodafone contract.

Orange carry the Treo ( I've got one ) so maybe threaten Vodafone and tell them you'll transfer your contract to Orange and see what happens?
