This store is TOO close to the birth place of Apple. The Bay Area is saturated with Apple users.

There were 3-4 people at the Aspen Grove store in Denver when I drove by there about an hour ago. There was nobody in front of the Colorado Springs store when I drove by about 20 minutes ago.

This brings back memories of when the ipad 1 was launched here in Houston. I woke up fairly early, maybe some time around 8. First I took a shower and then played with my son after he had breakfast. Around 10 or 11, me and my wife drove to the Apple store, waited 30 minutes, and then walked out with a brand new Ipad. Looking back on the issue, the whole experience probably would have been more magical if I went the night before and just slept in front of the mall in a tent.

Wow.. do you live in Springs? I went to UCCS but grew up in Denver.

damn...this is the store i plan on going to. I'll scope the scene in the morning but it might be a better idea to just line up at best buy.

OP, thanks for taking that picture of the display setup with all those smart covers.
