OK. So, I'm trying to connect my aol account to Palringo. I click on the big "P" on the left, then click on "add service". I then choose aol, and type in my account name and password. But, when I click add, it just takes me back to the main menu under the big "P".

Anyone had this? How do I fix it?

Thanks!

I'm having exactly the same problem trying to log in to save my messenger account as a new service. Sent a message to the support team and will post if they reply - if you find a way to fix it first though, please post

Thanks

Zim

It seems there is a workaround: creating a new Palringo account you will be able to add new accounts. But It's not an ideal solution at all.
Let's wait for developer's words..

This doesn't help but Palringo sucks. For now... It barely ever works for me and just looks odd. Plus some cheapo animations and such. Palringo just needs a few changes to the UI, and I dont really like the idea of havong a Palringo account. As I said before, the animations for sliding are a bit odd, slow, and cheap. It would be nice if they were just like AIM's. The icon in the corner is a pretty cool idea for switching chats. I hope MobileChat's servers get fixed but for now there aren't many great chat apps.

So I bought MobileChat......

Works great!!! Most of the time... But servers are slowly getting better. Seems better than the other clients and has email notifications when you get new messages, until push starts...

It's comments like this that will eventually prevent developers from even wanting to put out updates or improve their products.

First, Palringo is free
Second, It works really well for the majority of people I know who use it. I have my yahoo, gmail, msn, and ichat signons and other than missing some sort of push notification the APP has never failed me.

There are plenty of APPs out there that need some more internal vetting, and we as end users shouldn't be beta-testers, which is what we are for the vast majority of APPs. But, I have to disagree with comments like your's that simply provide no positive input, and yes, I do realize that it's not your responsibility to fix a developer's APP, but if you have nothing good to say, leave it be.

haven't had a single problem with palringo since it first came out on the app store. works great and flawlessly...

Palringo (although I hate the name A LOT) has been working perfectly for me since I downloaded it.

Can you developers please change the name?
