so I set up my older 2012 MacMini as a general purpose server where we back up files and where we have our iTunes library stored as well.
Now, we use Play-Fi with an Arcam rPlay as our music server and part of the selection within Play-Fi is that one can choose a Media Server.
Right now, Play-Fi does not see the MacMini server on our network. All files on the server are shared, including the Music File and iTunes file, yet Play-Fi does not see it on our network.
Is there something I need to do with the MacMini server in order to make it 'look like' a media server so that Play-Fi can see it on our network?, thanks for any advise and help.

You should put "Play-Fi" in the headline instead of the current one, because the one you have now doesn't say anything about your problem.
