The specs of the GH3 have officially been announced at Photokinia today. The specs look good, magnesium alloy body, weather sealing, same 16MP pictures but a new sensor. Lots of improvements in the video, which don't interest me, but I was disappointed by the size. I'd love a GH2 size with better quality stills and the magnesium alloy body they've introduced, which is what I was hoping for. I don't see the point in getting a m43 sensor if the camera's going to be the same size and weight as a DSLR

Agreed. The GH3 does look interesting, but kinda defeats a lot of the purpose of the m43 systems.

At this point I may just start stalking a used G3 to couple with my EMP1.

The G3 seems to be between the GH2 and the GFx in shape, and the former is very comfortable for me. Hmm... I'm going to have to rethink.
