PANASONIC HDC-HS9 Problems?

I'm interested in purchasing a PANASONIC HDC-HS9 to make home videos. However, I have read reviews stating "significant" problems in some cases importing video footage from the hard drive of this camcorder into iMac OS X Leopard -- which is what I have.

Can anyone confirm or deny these problems? Anybody here use this camcorder with the stated iMac configuration?
