Hello all,

I don't normally post in here ever since i'm not too much of a camera buff, but i've got a burning question that needs attention from your collective knowledge. I'm buying a digital camera for my mom, who has up until now only used disposable cameras (so quality is not necessarily top priority). it needs to be easy to use, a good value, technically sound, and budget priced.

After doing research and consulting a few friends, i've narrowed the search down to the Panasonic LS70S and the Nikon Coolpix L11. Both are near equal prices and come with a free 1GB SD card, so it is mostly up to finding a technical difference. The Panasonic has an image stabilizer but info on the specs has been kinda vague, not much even listed on the Panasonic or Lumix sites, leading me to believe the Nikon may be a better choice.

Can anyone help me out?
